Home and Doing Great!!

We are home and doing great! Madden is such a great little boy and has taken to nursing so good. It has been so much easier than with Presli. Who ever knew you could love another child as much as your first? He has brought so much joy into our house. Presli is doing great with him. She just loves to sit and kiss on him. We just want to thank our great family and friends for their support. I especially want to thank my wonderful mom. We could not have done any of this without her. She has been so great to keep Presli with her so we could be at the hospital with Madden. Thanks you so much mom, we love and appreciate all you do for us. We have great family!!

Madden was a big boy at 5lb 11 oz! He is nothing but legs and arms, just like his dad! He measured 18.5 inches long.

Family of 4

Hooray...The Riecks are now a family of four! Kalli and Joe had their baby today Wednesday February 25th at 8:15am!!! He wieghed 5lb 11oz and was 18 1/2" long! They named him Madden J Rieck! Kalli had a really great labor and no complications! The baby is really healthy for being 3 weeks and 2 days early, and is so stinkin cute! He has really long arms and legs just like his daddy and resembles Presli through the mouth and nose! He has brown hair and is such a little stud muffin! Presli is so excited to be a BIG sister! She was up north with my mom and they caught an airplane at seven this morning and got here at 8:45! They barely missed the birth of the baby but Presli knew exactly who he was when she saw him! First thing she wanted to do was "HOLD HIM!" She is going to be a great sister and Kalli and Joe are so lucky to be parents of two ADORABLE KIDS! We are all so excited to have Madden here! CONGRATS TO THE RIECKS!

A Different Plan In Mind...

So, me, Joe and Presli had a fun weekend planned for us this coming weekend. We were going up north to stay with some friends, I was going to have my friend take some maternity pictures and we were going to go to our future brother in laws birthday party.

Today I had my 36 week check up, and evidently our son had a different plan in mind. Today was my first "check". We were maybe planning to hear what we heard with Pres...dilated to a 1!!! Nope, dilated to a 4 and 60% efaced!!! That's right!! Joe and I looked at each other with huge eyes! What?? Now I know that does not neccesarily mean we will have him today, next week, or even two weeks from now...I could be a 4 for weeks! But when the doctor tells you to stay in town..you listen. And I am sure if we decided to go out of town, I would have him. So, we will be staying in St. George, waiting for the arrival of our son!

I was super bumbed to hear I could not go up north to get my pictures taken. So I called my sister and we met at my moms house and did some. I am way happy with them. I think she did an amazing job! Thanks Lace! So here are a few she has done!

Pregnancy Moment & A Couple Pics

K, so I am not sure if it is just me, or if every pregnant girl out there turns into a complete idiot during pregnancy?? I know that I do. Maybe I shouldn't admit it!! I have an entire list of stupid things I have done since being pregnant. This one was pretty funny, I thought I would share... Yesterday I ran a few errands with my mom. I had Presli and was also babysitting Korver. I had a shopping cart with our purchases and purses in it, and my mom had the shopping cart with Korver. I randomly leave my cart a few feet from me, and then grab it again. Well, I am pushing my cart down the isle and all of the sudden feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and a girl says to me, "I think you are pushing my cart!!!" Seriously, how long had I been pushing some strangers cart? Who knows!! I just laughed and apologized. It wasn't the first dumb thing I had done, and I am pretty sure it won't be the last!!!


While babysitting Korver I all of the sudden realized Pres was really quiet. I looked over the couch and she had taken off Korver's socks and was painting his toenails with her pretend fingernail polish!! Pretty cute!!
