Last night Joe took Presli to the Grand Ball at the Castle in Layton. They got to mingle with the princesses, ride with Cinderella in her carriage and learn a dance from Flynn and Rapunzel. Joe said she loved every minute of it. I love this age....she thinks everything is real and they are her heroes!! She looked so pretty! I love this girl!!

My Baby Girl's 1st Day of Preschool

So, yesterday Presli started her first day of preschool. She has been to preschool for the past two years, but it has always been with my mom. Since moving to Bountiful it has been hard making the trip to North Ogden for school. This year we decided to try one here in Bountiful. I know its going to be really hard for me not to compare it to my moms, but hopefully it will be ok. Presli was a little shy when I took her in, but I know she will be fine. She is very outgoing and make friends very easily. When I picked her up she was all smiles and said it was "Way fun, Way fun!" Here are a few pictures before school started. Length: 19 1/2 inches long Seriously? My baby is one year old? Wow how the past year has flown. Where do I even start with my little angel baby? Knox has been such a joy to have in our family. He has been my best baby by far. From the time he was born, he has never been much of a crier....and he's still not! He seems to always have a smile on his face....and a huge smile at that with his big mouth! When he smiles it's almost as if his eyes just sparkle! He is definitely never starving for attention...he is literally mawled to death all day by Presli. Even after a year she still seems to never get enough of him...and he absolutely loves her. He loves his big brother Madden too. No matter what Madden does, he always seemsto make Knox laugh! Here are just a few things to remember about Knox at 1 year old...

*Loves his taggie...which I don't always give him cause we don't need an attatchment to have to get rid of

*Still likes his binky

*Sleeps through the night and is such a great napper

*Never cries...well okay a tiny bit

*Loves to dance...anytime music is on you can guarantee Knox is bouncing

*Is off of a bottle and loves his sippy cups!

*LOVES to climb the stairs...he will look back to make sure we are watching and then he will laugh and crawl faster

*Says...mama, dada, nana, uh oh

*Shakes his head NO

*Will hold up his finger if you ask how old he is

*Loves cars, trucks and motorcycles...if he sees one he will start pushing it on the floor and makes a truck noise

*Kindof a daddy's boy...If Joe walks in from work and he doesn't acknowledge Knox first...Knox will scream at him

*Is a GREAT eater...he will eat anything and he LOVES fruit

*If you holler Hipperee...he will throw his hands in the air and yell!!

*He is our little snuggler!!!! I love it!

We couldn't even imagine our life without our little Knoxer! He is such a blessing to have in our family! We love you Knoxy!!!!!!

I know I am a bit late, but on the 30th of July my baby boy turned one! We celebrated with some family and friends while I was in St. George. We celebrated with a Pirate Party! Everything turned out so cute. He was all smiles the whole party! He is my little angel baby...always so happy!! I love this boy!! The only 1 of my 3 kids who dug into their cake!! I figured he would be!!

Me and my mom went out and did a little shopping with all of the kids. They all fell asleep on the way home. We laid them all on the couch when we got home. Nate and Lacy came over and Nate thought it would be fun to paint their faces. So he took my eyeliner and painted their faces like kittens! As you can tell by the look on Korver's face he woke up in mid painting and looked a little frightened!!! When the boys woke up they just looked at each other and smiled! When Presli woke up she said, "I want my face painted like theirs!"

While we were in St. George the kids spent every waking moment in the pool. By the end of the weekend the boys were being pretty daring! Presli and Madden spent almost everyday with Korver and they loved every second of it!

Joe went on a guys golf trip to Arizona so me and the kids stayed in St. George while he was gone. Presli had been looking forward to seeing The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn for a whole year. So we went while we were down there. It was me, Pres, Madden, my mom, my nephew Korver, my niece Layla, and my mother and sister in law. The kids loved it! Presli thinks it's all so real, I love this age!

Over the 24th of July we went with our friends to their parents cabin with a couple other couples and their families. We had so much fun...we didn't want to leave. The kids absolutely loved riding the tube. Madden tried water skiing....we were so proud. It was so stinkin cute. The kids had a blast. They actually cried when we had to leave. Thanks so much Krystelle and Randy for inviting us. Hope we can do it again!!!!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. Lindsey and Jared Preece and their family stayed over night on Friday and Saturday we went and spent the day at Cherry Hill. We were there for six hours and then kids enjoyed every minute of it. We came back home and did some fireworks. Then on Monday we went to our friends and had a BBQ and swam. Then did more fireworks! The kids had such a fun weekend!

We went to Island Park with my parents. It was so much fun. We were there for 6 days! Madden was in heaven riding the four wheelers. He wanted to ride them non stop. One of the days we went on a 54 mile ride! The kids didn't make a peep! They loved it! We definitely need to go more often! Thanks mom and dad for such a fun trip!!

Me and the kids went to my friends parents cabin for the weekend while Joe was at Youth Conference. The kids had so much fun. They cried when we had to leave!

Knoxer at 9 months old!

He is still my angel baby!! He is always so happy and content! At his 9 month check up he weighed 22 pounds (75%) and 29 inches long (90%). The doctor couldn't believe how good he was. He just held completely still and looked at her and she did all of her poking and looking around!! He is still in love with his brother and sister and enjoys every bit of attention they give him! He loves to get on his hands and knees and do rock it! He wants to crawl so bad, but can only get from place to place moving backwards!! He is my champion eater! He loves everything we put in front of him! He is the biggest joy in our family and we love him to pieces!! Cute Presli at 4 years old! (Madden wouldn't participate for pictures, so his will come later!)
A few weeks ago we went to St. George's for a friends baby blessing. Me and the kids stayed for a week. During that time Joe's mom had all of the grandkids together for the first time! SWe had to take a picture! Talk about a chore getting all 12 kids to smile at once...it didn't happen!

On Saturday we celebrated Presli's birthday with alot of our family and friends. She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake Party! Everything was green and pink. It looked so cute. It was such a great party. She got spoiled! We are so grateful that we had family come up to celebrate and got to spend a little time with some great friends. Thank you to everyone who was able to share Presli's special day with her!! Happy Birthday Presli!!! We love you!

We put two chairs up on a table and each guest got to sit next to Presli while she opened their gift. All of the kids were so excited to get a turn sitting up on the chair! I thought it was a cute idea! Plus, I didn't have a bunch of little heads in the way of pictures!!

Tangled Party!!

So, since November we have been dying for Tangled to come out on DVD. (By WE, I think I really actually mean ME!) So, we decided to have a little party...well get together! My friend and her two boys came over and we watched the movie and then had lunch. We made Princess Crown sandwiches. The kids had a fun time. I am so glad I have such a great friend up here! I love spending time with her and her cute boys!

Four years ago yesterday I gave birth to my first baby! My baby girl turned 4 and she was so excited it was her "Special Day!" She woke up a little early and when she came into my room I started singing to her. She stood in the hall with a grin on her face. When I finished she ran in and said, "Is it morning time?" I told her it was and that it was finally her birthday. I asked her if she felt 4 now. She said, "Ya, I felt 4 in the night!" So funny! All day she kept talking about her special day.

We started the day off with dancing where her class sang to her and she passed out cupcakes. She then had her choice of eating anywhere she wanted for lunch. She of course chose Texas Roadhouse. Well, they aren't open for lunch so she chose her next favorite...Applebee's! Joe met us there and we had lunch. They sang Happy Birthday to her and she got to pick out a little prize. We went home and while the boys napped we decorated a little crown for her to wear.

She was antsy all night. She had to wait til Joe got home from work and young men's to open her presents. It was torture to see them sitting on the table and not be able to open them. Finally at 7:30 she got to open her presents!(We were all in jammies ready for bed!) She was hilarious. I had the camera up and every time I took a picture...she posed. None of the pictures below were of me telling her to smile...it was all her!

Presli has been such a joy to have in our lives. I am so lucky to be the mom of such a loving, adorable, smart little girl. Not a day goes by where she doesn't put a smile on my face! I love you baby girl!!!

So, I got on our blog to update and holy cow...didn't realize how long it had been since I had posted. So, I won't be catching up from the past 4 months....there would be way too many pictures. So, above are pictures of a few things we have been up to...

First off, we moved up to Bountiful the middle of October. I was not super excited about it, but I knew it was what was best for our family. Turns out, I really like it up here!! I love Bountiful. I have to say though, had it not been for my friendly neighbor introducing herself the day we moved in, I may not be enjoying it so much. We do alot together. She has become my best friend up here...which I really needed. It feels like I've known her longer than I really have. So thank you thank you Kim...I love you!!

Joe's job is going better than we could have ever imagined! He is super busy and works alot, but we are blessed that it's not the other way around. I am so grateful for all of his hard work! I have the best husband in the world! The kids seem to enjoy it here...we do miss our family and friends in St. George, but it's been kinda fun it just being the 5 of us!

Knox is now 7 1/2 months old! Holy cow how time has flown. He is seriously the best baby ever. He only cries when he's hungry or tired and constantly has a smile on his face. He absolutely loves Presli and Madden. They are so good to him. He definitely is never in need of any attention...he has plenty! I thought for sure they would be sick of him by now...nope, they still think he's the best thing ever!! Knox has a few names..Knoxy, Knoxy Roxy, Knoxer, Knoxous, Knoxaramous. The kids love to sing this to him: "Knoxy Roxy puddin' and poxy kissed the girls and called them foxy!" I sang it to him once and the kids thought it was funny! He is jabbering and laughing alot, sitting up, rolling over and loves to stand up. His favorite toy is his jumparoo! He sits and bounces uncontrollably!! He loves his sleep...and loves to have his face covered. He just had his 7 month check up and is definitely our big boy! He weighed 21 pounds and is 28 inches long! He has been such a blessing to our family!

Madden just turned 2 the end of February. We went to St. George and celebrated with family and friends the week before and then on his birthday we celebrated at home with more family and friends. I can't believe he is 2! He is talking so much. Each day I just laugh at the sentences he comes up with. He is going to be our little heart breaker...with those big blue eyes! He is our little sensitive boy! I can't even count how many times a day he says, "Mom, Mom...I wuv you!" He loves Presli and Knox. He follows Presli around and copies almost everything she does. And he is such a good big brother to Knoxy Roxy. Some of the funny things he always says are: "Nasty Nana! No, I do it! I did it! No poopers! I wuv you! I am awesome! How's work dad? How's dance Pres? See mom, see dad, see Pres!" He loves motorcycles, trucks(particularly Papa's Big Truck!), cars, trains, balls, Buzz, and Woody. He LOVES his milk! And is definitely a mommy's boy! He is such a joy in our lives! We love him to pieces!!

Where to start with our little Presli!! Presli will turn 4 at the end of the month. Seems more like she is 3 going on 13!! He acts so old for her age and it just kills us at the words she uses in her everyday vocabulary. Most of the words I don't even use at age 29! She is so smart! She loves showing off all that she knows. Her phone number, address, color words, counting by 5's and 10's, rhyming, syllables, time on the hour and half hour, all of the sounds of the alphabet and much more! She is definitely a girly girl. She loves playing dress up, loves princesses, make up, and fingernail polish. She loves to dance. She started taking again when we moved up here and she loves it. She is such a great helper...especially with her brothers. She is my little babysitter when I am putting Madden down for a nap. She is always willing to help entertain Knox when I need her too. She just recently learned how to change the boys diapers! Only the peetail ones though!! She is really proud of herself! She is our drama queen. Holy cow...some days I wonder how I'll get through the next 15 years! I guess I just have to feel lucky she's my only girl!! She is definitely a mommy's girl. She has more energy than any kid I have ever seen. She is going strong from the time she wakes up to the time she goes to bed! She keeps us on our toes! We love her and she is such a great little girl!

Joe and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary on the 12th! I surprised him and picked him up from work. We ate at the Roof and stayed at The Little America. We had a girl we've known for years come and stay with the kids (with some help from Nana)! We were so lucky to have her! The kids loved her and Joe and I had a great time spending the evening alone! We are so blessed to have the life we have. We really couldn't ask for anything more. We love our life!!

First day Of School!

Presli and Madden had their first day of school on Tuesday! This is the first year that Presli is actually old enough to be going to school...I can't believe she is that old already. They were so excited! Madden thought he was pretty big stuff that he got to go to school too! They both had a great time! I am so lucky that we have such a great preschool teacher!!! We sure will miss it when we are gone!

Wow! I seriously cannot believe my baby is 1 month old! Here are a few things to remember about Knox at 1 month old:

I am so lucky to have such great friends. Yesterday Whitney and Amber came and picked up Presli and Madden and took them to Creative Minds to play with their kids. Knox's umbilical chord fell off on Tuesday morning so he had his first bath on Tuesday night! He wasn't a fan of the bath until I put a warm washcloth on his tummy...then he settled right down! Joe's parents came over to watch his first bath. They have come over with all 3 kids! It's always fun to have them!Not loving it!

What I Love...

Well, our perfect little bundle of joy (Knox J for those of you who didn't hear) has been home for two days now! Life is pretty much perfect and we are loving our little guy. Presli and Madden are so cute with him and are loving our new addition to our family! I love my babies and I could not be any more blessed.

Not only do I have the most perfect babies, but I have an amazing husband. He is such an amazing dad and is always so helpful. He has probably only missed a total of 5 nighttime feedings with our newborns, and it seems he is keeping tradition!!! Joe you are an amazing husband and father and I am so lucky to have you as mine! I love you!!

Well he is here!!! Baby boy Rieck decided to make his much anticipated entrance into the world today at 1:00pm! I am going to leave all the details up to Kalli to tell (this is Lacy), but I am here to let everyone know that everything went GREAT and mommy and baby couldnt be doing any better! He weighed in at a whopping 7lb 4oz and 19 1/2in long! By far Kalli's biggest baby yet! He is absolutely adorable and we could not be happier for their cute little family! Kalli's labor went really great and there were no problems! He is a healthy little boy with some big lippers and big hands and feet!:) Who knew Kalli's teeny tiny little body could hold a baby of that size!?!? Presli and Madden love their new baby brother and can't wait to have mommy and brother home! We love all of them so much, and can't wait to spoil this little stinker rotten just like the rest of them! As far as a name goes...they are still going with BABY RIECK! Im sure by tomorrow they will have made a decision...but it's been a hard one! I will let this little video do the rest of the talking so you can see just how perfect their day was! Joe got Madden dressed this morning and I came in the room and the two of them had their soccer jersies on ready for the game!! Joe had a jersey from Brazil and Joe's mom brought the boy grandkids a jersey back from Uruguay when she went! The two of them looked so cute I had to take a picture!

Madden-16 Months Old!

At the end of June Madden turned 16 months! I seriously cannot believe my baby boy is growing up so fast! He was the hardest baby and constantly cried and whined up until he was about 13 months old and since then he has turned into the best little thing ever! He is always so happy and I could just sit and squeeze and kiss on him all day every day! Here are a few things to remember about Madden at 16 months old...

*He LOVES cars and balls. I can't tell you how many times a day all I hear is.. "Ball, Ball, Ball, Ball, Ball!" It's hilarious walking through the produce section. He thinks every circle shape fruit and veggie is a ball!!
*He loves his big sister. He follows her every where and copies everything she does!
*He loves his milk! We have to have him eat atleast half of any meal before he gets his drink!
*He is my great little eater! He loves everything!
*He has been sleeping in his big boy bed for 1 month and transitioned so easy!
*He repeats everything. I was worried he was going to be forever talking, but he catches on so quick.
*Words he uses often are...more, milk, again, ah mmm (ah oh), all done, car, ball, truck, thanks, sick, up, amen, shoes, dog, cat, cow, belly, baby, mmm hhh (for yes), han (hand), cheese, teat (treat), hot
*He says thanks for everything! Love that he has manners at this age!
*He is so good to fold his arms and not eat until the entire prayer is said!
*He loves to wear shoes...his, mine, Joe's, Presli's...anyone's!!
*He is such a snuggler! He loves giving luvs and kisses!
*He loves to grab my family's family picture and have me point and ask who everyone is!
*Points to his head, ears, nose, tongue, piggies, belly
*When we are driving in the car he will hold his hand out and say over and over again "han, han, han", until someone holds his hand!!
*He dances anytime any music turns on!
*He loves to swim. We have to watch him carefully because he has no fear and will just dive in at any given moment!
*He loves to give 5 and knuckles!!
*He loves to jabber!!
*Whenever I put him in his carseat he says, "hot...hot!"

There is so much more I could write about this cute little thing, but I may never stop! He is so much fun and brings us so much happiness!!!

4th of July...a little late!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. On Friday night we met some friends at the park and ate dinner and played water balloon volleyball! We had tons of fun and the kids loved having friends to play with.
On Saturday morning we went to Joe's parents for a BBQ. We ate and spent most of the afternoon in the pool....which is always fun.
Later Saturday afternoon we went to my parents for another BBQ, more swimming and fireworks! The kids had so much fun watching fireworks and doing sparklers. Presli is in a big time dancing and posing stage, so she was the center of attention dancing and striking poses with sparklers in her hands! She loved being in the spotlight! Madden loved the sparklers too and was amazed at each firework that went in the air!
We had a great weekend and it was so much fun to be surrounded by so many of our family and friends!!

Main Street Park

I took the kids to the Main Street Park the other day and they had such a great time. It's the perfect place for Madden because there are only so many places to go! We just went by ourselves so Presli was so good to play with Madden! They are great little friends and he follows her everywhere!

A Weekend With Nana

Last weekend Joe and I had to make a quick trip up north for a farewell. We decided since it would be such a fast trip, it would be better for the kids to stay home. They stayed with Nana most of the time, and spent a few hours at Grandma and Grandpa Rieck's. Saturday afternoon Nana took them to Barnes and Noble for storytime. They met Lala, NayNay, Korver and Titan there. We were told that Madden was hilarious..thinking he needed to be the center of attention and point at all of the pictures! I guess between Madden and Korver, they thought they should be in the spotlight! Presli had a great time!

On Saturday night Nana had the three grandkids over. They had a Toy Story party and sleepover! Nana bought them all matching Buzz Lightyear pajamas! They all ate mac and cheese, chocolate milk in their Toy Story cups and slept on the floor in their Toy Story sleeping bags. (Presli's was a Princess one!) Nana said they all had such a great time...which I wouldn't doubt...she spoils them all ROTTEN!!! I think all 3 of them would choose to be with Nana over their parents any day! Thank you Nana for watching the kids and for giving them such a fun weekend! They love you to pieces!!

We had some friends over on Friday for a BBQ and then projected a movie on the house for the kiddos to watch. We had a lot of fun. It was great to get together with some friends. We are lucky to have such great friends! We even had our friends Chris and Jena come down and spent a little time with them...we haven't seen them in forever! It was a fun night!

We had Preschool Graduation a couple of weeks ago. Presli was too worried about flipping her dress up, than she was singing the songs!! She sure did look cute though. She receieved the Pee Wee Scholar Award. Not because her Nana is the teacher, but because she passed off more than alot of the 4 year olds! I am so proud of her, she is such a smart little girl!

A few weeks ago me and the kids headed up north so I could give one of my friends a baby shower. My kids absolutely love my grandparents. Presli has always loved my Grandma and she always says that "Grandpa Dee is a pest!" Madden hadn't seen them since October so it took him a second to warm up to them. But once he did, he didn't want Grandma out of his sight! Their favorite part of the trip was Grandma and Grandpa taking them on the 4 wheelers to see all of the animals. They loved it. And...no fail, every time, Madden would come back sound asleep!! It was a little chilly so Grandma found these beanies for them to wear...I thought they looked so cute!!

Hawaii!!!

A few weeks ago, Joe and I went to Hawaii with a couple that we are really good friends with. We had such a blast. We met Lindsey and Jared Preece in Oahu, spent 4 days there and then flew to Maui for 4 days! It was the perfect vacation.

We spent alot of time at the beach, and did alot of fun stuff. We spent a day at North Shore where Joe and Jared didn't want to leave because of the huge waves! Lindsey and I were a little nervous since they had no clue what they were doing! We visited Pearl Harbor which was interesting.

In Maui we went on a snorkeling tour. I chickened out. I did get in, but because of my anxiety with fish...and the coldness of the water...I could barely breath and had to get out after about 30 seconds! Joe, Jared and Lindsey had a great time though, they got to swim with huge turtles! We went to a Luau and to Maui Ocean Center and saw lots of fish. Our best times were at the beach in Maui. It was our last day and Lindsey and I hadn't really been in the waves yet. So we decided to give it a try. We had so much fun. Not sure how many times we flashed or mooned people, but we were laughing hysterically.

We had a "Shave Ice" almost everyday! Sometimes twice a day! The weather was perfect and we couldn't have went with a more fun couple! We just hope that had a great time too!

A big thanks to our family who watched our two kiddos while we were gone...we couldn't have done it without them!!!

We had such a fun Easter this year. We started the weekend out by coloring Easter eggs with lacy, Nate and Korver and then went to Nana and Papas house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. The kids had such a great time looking for their eggs. Sunday morning Madden and Presli had a scavenger hunt to go look for their baskets that the Easter Bunny left them. Madden had no clue what was going on, but Pres liked it! Sunday afternoon we went to Joe's parents for lunch and the kids found more eggs. They had such a great time playing with their cousins. Today was the Preschool Easter Egg Hunt! Presli thought we were going to the park to look for bunnies!!! So funny! The kids had a ton of fun. My Baby Girl Is 3!!!!!

I cannot believe that 3 years ago today I brought home a tiny 5 pound 4 ounce bundle of joy! Wow how the past 3 years have flown by. Presli has brought so much joy into our home and life certainly would not be the same without her in it! She is a little firecracker and our spoiled little princess. It seems more like she is 3 going on 13! The things that come out of her mouth I wonder where they came from! She is definitely a mommy's girl and the two of us are best friends! I look forward to every morning when I get to see her bright smiley face and the many kisses and luvs I get from her! She is the best little girl and she makes us so happy! We are so lucky to have her as our daughter! Words cannot begin to explain the joy she brings to our family! We love you so much Presli! We hope you had a very special day!!!!

Just a few of the MANY things to remember about Presli at age 3...

*she acts more like a 4 year old than a 3 year old

*she loves anything that has to do with Princesses

*she speaks like a 13 year old

*she has been potty trained for almost 6 months

*she loves to be told stories...not read stories, but any story you can tell her, made up or real. She knows almost every story from my childhood! It's getting harder and harder to come up with one!

*she is an amazing big sister and such a great helper

*she is girly, girly, girly!!!

*when she gets out of the car, or walks out of a public restroom, she stops and fixes her hair (Guess she's seen mommy do that a few times!)

*she is my little snuggler...i love it!!!!!

*she loves to dance

*she loves to sing

*her favorite color is blue

*she knows the pledge of allegiance, her full name, phone number, address, and birthdate

*she can tell you every letter of the alphabet and their sound

*she knows her colors, shapes, nursery rhymes, and can tell time on the hour and half hour

*she loves playing dress up and changes dresses atleast 10 times a day

*she shows her love for you by pinching (not hard) your ear lobes...when you ask her why she does it she says, "Because I love you big much!"
*she is hard headed...when she has something in mind, you better watch out...she is not budging!

So many more things I could write, but I could go on forever!!!

Me and the kids went to Washington City pool with my sister and her family the other day while Joe was in Vegas working. The kids had so much fun! The boys were a little hesitant at first, but it didn't take them too long to realize how much fun it was. Presli is a little fish so she loved every second of it! My baby boy turned 1 today! Holy cow how the past year has flown! It seems like only yesterday, we brought our tiny 5 pound 11 ounce bundle of joy home from the hospital. Oh how the past year has changed...all for the best of course. I could not imagine our little family without this little guy. He has brought so much happiness into our lives! Presli has absolutely loved having a little brother to play with. We are so proud to call him ours! We love you our little Madden J!

A few things to remember about madden at 1 year old...

*loves to play with anything that is a car, truck or a ball

*has learned to fight back (this was much needed as he has the biggest pest for a sis!)

*he has been off of a bottle for a month now!!!!

*he still loves his binky

*he can say Mama, Dada, Adda (Addie my moms dog), Nana and what sounds like "I DID IT!"

*is very very high maintenance

*loves attention...24/7

*loves to wave bye bye, play "where's Madden?", patty cake, and Monster...a made up game by me and Joe

*loves Grandma Carmen's spanish songs...no idea what they are called

*anytime music is on...he is dancing

*loves balloons

*doesn't have much interest in walking but can crawl like nobody's business

*loves to play with his sister

*has yet to find anything he doesn't like to eat

*loves to bath and stick his face down in the water

*makes the sound of a car anytime he sees one

Yesterday my mother in law came over to the house and brought over some of Joe's baby stuff she found. We put Madden in Joe's little velour outfit. Such a cutie!

Madden is so close to crawling. He is starting to get so frusterated cause all he can do is scoot backwards. He took two crawls last night and was so proud of himself. I can't believe he will be nine months old this week!

First of all, my little Madden, well ok, my little chubster will be 7 months old next week! Wow how time flies, not that it's been an easy flight, but it has been a fast one! He is the funnest little guy to have around. When he is fussy...watch out, but when he is good...he is a stud! Here are a few things about Madden at 7 months old...
*stats...weight, 20.1 pounds...80% and height, 27.95 inches...84%
*drastically dropped from 36 ounces of formula a day to 24!
*eating cereal and baby food now...loves his green beans and applesauce!
*can't wait 2 seconds for his food after he has seen it opened!
*downs 6 ounce bottle in no time at all!
*sitting up by himself...a few face plants one in a while!
*loves to sip threw a straw.
*can't help but smile when his little sister is around, or if anyone as much as looks his direction!
*loves his binky!
*loves any sort of song...mostly the ones I make up!
*loves Presli to act like a DORK for him...laughs histerically
*loves to roll from his back to his belly, but can't figure out how to get back over, while laying on his tummy his arms are clear out to the side and he looks like Superman!

Presli is 2 1/2 years old! She just turned into a little girl over night! She is talking like crazy and uses words that just make me shake my head! She is too smart for her own good. She is definitely one of a kind. She still likes Dora but is more into Princesses! Yes...slowly losing Dora! She can make you laugh at about anything she says! And half of the time she can make you want to kick her in the pants!! Her looks have saved her from a lot of that!!! But we love her!!!

Preschool started back up on the 2nd of September! Presli goes 3 days a week when my mom teaches, and with me 5 days a week when I teach. We went out and bought her new school clothes! Over Labor Day weekend, me, Joe and the kids packed up our stuff and took a 15 passenger van to Snowflake with his parents and his sister Cindy's family! We were loaded down! It was hilarious to have all of us loaded in this huge white van! Presli and the kids loved it. Her and Layla played, chatted and watched movies the whole way. Isaiah didn't make a peep most of the time, and us adults talked and enjoyed each others company. We went to see Joe's Grandparents. I had met them a few years ago, but they had not met either of our kids, or Cindy's kids and had not yet met Scott. So we decided over the long weekend, to make the trip. We had a great time. Laughed a lot and a few tears were shed. I only met Joe's grandparents three years ago, and his Grandma had started with Alzheimers. She asked over a dozen times who I was, and when Joe got married. Same with this trip. She doesn't remember anything longer than ten minutes or so. From what I see, Joe's grandparents are amazing people. His grandma still makes funny jokes, and his grandpa treats his wife like a queen! His Aunt Mary lives with them and takes care of them. She must be an amazing person, because that has got to be a difficult job...she will be rewarded! We had a great trip. It was good to spend a few days with family. Presli had so much fun with Layla. They are about 2 months apart and they just played (and fought)with each other the whole time. It made me realize how much more we need to get our kids together! 24th of July

We had a fun 24th of July. I am in the primary presidency and we had breakfast and a little bike parade after. The kids get to decorate their bikes and then ride around in a circle in the parking lot. Presli rode her bike for the first time. She loved it. Afterwards went swimming with lacy, Nate and Korver and had a little BBQ. We went home and the kids took a little nap. Later we went over to the Library park where they had booths set up and did Movie in the Park. We had pizza and watched a few minutes of the movie. Then we went back to our house and let the kids do some sparklers. Korver could have cared less about them, he was too interested in crawling on the sidewalk. Presli loved them though. It was a fun day!! Get ready for lots of pictures!!

A Visit With Grandparents

Joe had to go up to Salt Lake for work, so me and the kids packed up our stuff and went with him. We stayed in Alpine at Joe's sisters house. Presli had a great time playing with Dallyn and Corbin, and Dallyn loved being little mommy to Madden. On our way home we stopped and saw my Grandma and Grandpa Waldron. Grandpa didn't really know who we were, but all that mattered was that we got to see him and visit with Grandma.

Korver's 1st Sleepover

Lacy and Nate went to Vegas and spent the night, so Korver had his first sleepover with us. He was an angel, as usual. Presli loved having someone to play with. He is a busy little thing so my house was a cyclone the entire time, but it was worth it! I was pretty proud of Joe and I, Sunday came and we had all 3 kids fed and dressed and we were ready and to church only five minutes late. We stayed through all three meetings with the kids! I thought for sure we would have to leave half way. It was a fun weekend. And seriously, Korver is not normal. He is the most chill baby I have ever seen or heard of. We love him!!

Swimming

Presli has turned into a fish this summer. She has absolutely loved swimming. She has one those swimming suits that has the built in life jackets. She swims all by herself and spends hours in the pool. Her newest thing is jumping off the side. Here are a few pictures from swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Rieck's house.

A visit from the Preece's

Our friends Jared and Lindsey Preece came down to St. George because Jared played in the Heat Stroker. They stayed with us. It was so much fun. Presli and Kinlie had a hard time sharing, but it was fun for Presli to have someone to play with. Irelynd was little miss mommy to Madden the whole time. I did not feed him one bottle while she was here...she always wanted to do it. And, Madden loved her! We had a lot of fun. We love when they come and stay, we only wish they lived closer!

4th Of July

For the 4th of July we went and stayed in Salt Lake and went to the new waterpark "Kowabunga" in Sandy. My aunt and my two cousins met us there and we all hung out for the day. The waterpark was a ton of fun. Later that night we went up to Weber High and watched the fireworks. We had a great weekend.

Swim Lessons

Presli had the opportunity to take swimming lessons again this year. This was Presli's third year, and like always, she loved it. Korver was able to take with her this year which made it more fun. And as usual, we had the daddy dip, which the kids love!!

Joe's sister Carolyn married an amazing guy named Jason. We had such a great time at their wedding, and danced our little rears off! We all matched in our pink. Isaiah's Birthday

We celebrated Isaiah's birthday this summer. Presli always has so much fun with her cousins. This was the first year Isaiah and Corbin did not have a double birthday party. They are just days apart and so we always celebrate their birthdays together. Corbin moved up north, so we missed him this year!

Wee Wonders Pre-School Graduation

Our summer started off with Pre-School graduation. I am teaching Pre-School with my mom and I am lucky that I get to take Presli and Madden with me. Presli has learned so much, even though I wonder how because she is all over the place. Pre-School graduation went great. Presli received the Pee Wee Scholar Award. Yes kind of because her Nana is the teacher, but mainly because she is two and knows how to spell her name, count to twenty, knows her phone number, every sound of the alphabet, where she lives, her colors, and shapes! I was so proud of her that she had learned so much at only two years old!

Food Storage...Hooray!

About eight months ago Joe partnered up with the people he used to work with at iTera in starting a new company. The company is called Wise Food. He has been working with them in St. George and up north. It's a long term food storage provider. What's nice about it is it lasts 25 years and all you have to do is add water! Presli loves the food, which is a huge bonus because she is our picky little eater and won't eat a thing! And I have to say, it tastes great!
Since he has been working on this, we decided we needed to get our act together and get our food storage. So, finally, we can say we are prepared with our food storage!! It has been a relief knowing we have what we need to survive if something were to happen. We feel we have been really blessed through out our lives and are grateful for everyones love and support.

Thankful for my trials!

So last night me and my sister had a girls night out. We left the boys home with the kiddos and went and saw a movie. We went and saw My Sisters Keeper. Talk about a tear jerker! We literally cried from beginning to end. It was depressing, but I am glad we saw it. As I was watching the movie, I realized how grateful I need to be for my trials and tribulations. I am so grateful to have to wonderful and healthy children and an amazing and perfect husband. My life is wonderful and I need to remember that my trials are nothing compared to what other people are going through. For my life I am so grateful. So, to my amazing husband and wonderful children, I love you and I am so grateful to have you in my life...you are my life and without you I would not be whole. I hope I can show you everyday just how much I love you. I am a lucky girl!

Our Little Madden Is 4 Months Old!!!

Wow!!! Our little Madden turned 4 months old yesterday. I can't believe how fast time has flown! He is such a joy to have in our family. Each day he seems to get cuter and cuter to us. Presli loves him like crazy and is such a great big sister. We are so lucky to have such beautiful kids. Madden has brought such happiness into our family! We love him!
Just a few things to remember about Madden at 4 months old...
*he is a permanent smiler...he always has a smile on his face (unless he is hungry)
*he still eats every 2 hours...and it drives me crazy!
*he is a little tank, and gaining weight like crazy (refer to #2!)
*he loves to cuddle (something Presli never liked!)
*he is sleeping through the night! Hooray!!!
*he is a little cat napper...and will never sleep longer than an hour during the day
*he has started to laugh a little
*he holds his head up with little or no wabblage!
*he has massive diarrhea
*he goes #2 atleast 8 times a day!
*he is still drinking what we call Gold Formula...Nutramigen
*still on Prevacid..and if we miss a dose...WATCH OUT!!!
*he vomits after every feeding! And permanently smells like vomit! Even as much as I wash him down!
*he loves his big sister and watches her every move:)
*hates tummy time!
*loves his bath!

Our 1st Few Hours At Disneyland!

Today was our first day at Disneyland. I think Presli was starting to think this whole talk of Disneyland was a big fat lie. We have been talking about it for the past six months. But so far she has loved it. We have not done or seen a ton, but what we have she has absolutely loved. Mickey Mouse is her favorite by far. She would have stayed with him had we let her. So, here are a few pictures from the morning....

Yesterday my sister Lacy took family pictures that were long overdue! Talk about a chore! Presli was out of control as usual, Korver chill as usual, Madden surprisingly wonderful, dad as enthused as usual about the whole picture idea(commented that he would rather have teeth pulled!), Nate and Joe just there and us three girls thrilled about the picture idea!! It took alot of effort to get only a few pictures. But of course, Lacy managed to do an amazing job and got tons of darling ones. Here is a preview of just a few of them! We celebrated my sister Lacy's 25th birthday yesterday! We had such a fun night. We went to Red Robin for dinner and afterwards went to Laser Mania and played miniature golf and rode the bumper cars. It was a fun night and we got some really cute pictures! Presli had a lot of fun!
